Painful memories of the past haunt all of us in some shape or form. This is why we overreact or underreact. Sometimes, those memories cause us to have poor self-esteem. Other times, it may cause irritability resulting in isolation, outbursts, or road rage. In severe cases, it gives us panic attack and our body struggles to breathe. If you have these symptoms or more, you are not alone. I know what it feels like to be in depression. I have also felt that anxiety in my body. It does not have to be that way forever.

Therapy does not always take a long time. I have had clients who only needed six sessions to improve their reactive behaviors, thoughts, and moods, but do not have this expectation because everyone heals at a different rate. On average, my clients tend to report a significant difference in their baseline mental health within 3 to 10 sessions. This includes PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, sleep paralysis, anger, paranoia, nightmares, flashbacks, imposter syndrome, low self-esteem, alcoholism, addictions, panic attacks, eating disorder, body dysmorphia, etc. Complex PTSD requires more time than others.
